Yet-y-Gors Campsite
Peaceful camping surrounded by wildlife, fishing lakes and beautiful countryside.
About: Hidden amongst the trees, just two miles inland from Fishguard, Yet-Y-Gors Campsite is a peaceful oasis of wildlife and natural beauty.
Set within the grounds of our quiet leisure course fishery, the campsite offers space to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. Whether you're seeking a tranquil escape or the perfect base to explore North Pembrokeshire, you'll find both here.
Wake each morning to a chorus of birdsong. Reed and sedge warblers, song thrushes, wrens, Cetti's warblers and chiffchaffs are regular visitors, while greylag geese, moorhens and swallows bring the lakes to life. From mid-May to late August, listen for the unmistakable calls of nesting swifts overhead, and if you're lucky, catch the brilliant flash of a kingfisher.
The changing seasons bring an ever evolving display of wildlife and wildflowers. Spring sees orchids, ragged robin and yellow flag iris in bloom, followed by foxgloves, meadowsweet and selfheal through summer. During the warmer months, colourful water lilies cover the lakes, providing a beautiful setting as well as valuable shelter for fish and water birds.
We offer a range of pitches to suit every style of camping, including hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up, individual grass pitches for tents, campervans and small caravans, and walk-in ‘free-style’ pitches for those wanting a more secluded experience. Our lakeside pitches, including Sunset, Linda's Pitch and Orchard, offer peaceful views across the water, and we're happy to help transport your camping gear with our quad and trailer if needed.
Located just outside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Yet-Y-Gors is ideally placed for exploring the spectacular coastline, beautiful beaches and charming villages of North Pembrokeshire.
For anglers, our four well-stocked course fishing lakes are available to campsite guests (additional charges apply) and visiting day anglers. If you've never tried fishing before, why not book one of our friendly taster sessions and discover a relaxing new pastime during your stay?
Worth Noting: Facilities include two indoor washing up areas with hot water, and two spacious wet rooms with flushing loos, hot showers, wash basins and mirrors.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead (max 3 metres), at all times whist on site.
