About: Frome View Camping is part of Goodens Farm, which is located at the centre of the village of Stoborough. Since the days of horse and carts, the Randall family has milked cows and walked them through the village, so the cows can graze the richly diverse meadows adjoining the River Frome.

Goodens Farm is a nature-friendly farm. We farm sustainably, maintaining our dairy herd at 70 cows. We have worked tirelessly to reduce our carbon footprint by making better use of farmyard manure and cutting fertiliser use to around a third of previous levels. Our electricity consumption from the grid has been reduced to a third of what it was, thanks to the use of solar panels. We also use rainwater harvesting equipment to reduce our reliance on mains water.

We hope you enjoy your stay at Frome View and experience a nature-friendly holiday. Relax on-site, or explore some of Purbeck’s natural treasures, such as Arne Nature Reserve, Corfe Castle, or Studland Beach - part of the Jurassic Coast. You can also walk to Wareham along the River Frome footpath from Red Cliff, where you’ll find a range of pubs and restaurants in the ancient Saxon market town. Alternatively, hop on a boat to visit Poole, Poole Harbour, or Brownsea Island.

Wareham is situated on the main Weymouth to London Waterloo line, so why not arrive by train and walk or cycle to the campsite, adding to your eco credentials?

Worth Noting: For your comfort and enjoyment, the site offers flushing toilets softly lit by fairy lights at night, and shower pods with views of grazing cows. Full recycling facilities are available. Arrive by car, or take the train and cycle or walk to Frome View. Relax and recharge in these beautiful, peaceful surroundings.
