Woodland camping and glamping in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The perfect location for exploring coastal and inland Pembrokeshire.

About: We have twelve camping pitches, including two hard-standing pitches for campervans or trailer tents and three glamping units. All are spread out in gently dappled woodland and along the edge of our hay meadow.

Each pitch has its own campfire, picnic table and most have a covered hut where you can prepare your meals - whatever the weather. Pitches mostly have private use of hot showers and composting toilets/flushing WC's either on the pitch or just a short walk away in the Old Cowshed. We also have quite a few pitches with electric hook-ups. The open and airy cowshed also has hot-water washing up facilities and fridge/freezer. We are a car-free site but provide wheelbarrows for hauling your camping gear.

New for summer 2022 is our tiny ‘Wonky Donkey Coffee Shop’ serving fresh coffee, home-made cakes and bacon rolls for breakfast or picnics to take away.

Little Welsh Wood will appeal to those who want to enjoy the simple delights of camping in the countryside and is perfect for walking and bird-watching (it's amazing to watch red kites soaring overhead!) or just to sit and relax away from the hubbub of everyday life. The campsite is great for children and we accept well behaved dogs.

Located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the campsite is ideally placed for visiting the Dale peninsular and Skomer Island, plus the many beaches around St Brides Bay. Skomer is famous for its puffins. A trip to see these iconic birds during the breeding season would be the highlight of any holiday.

We are only about a mile from the breathtakingly beautiful Pembrokeshire coast path. A public footpath running through our farm links to other paths and lanes enabling you to join the coast path or take circular walks back to the campsite.

We have tried very hard to be eco-conscious with our development so that we can offer some creature comforts to make your camping holiday more enjoyable and yet be sustainable.

Worth Noting: We are in the 'We're Good to Go' scheme to help keep you Covid safe. Our site is on a small working farm with an old cowshed re-purposed to provide open and airy facilities. We are also pet-friendly. Please note, during peak times in the school summer holiday, guests may be required to share a toilet/shower with one other pitch.
