About: Coed Temple Druid is a beautiful off-grid, family run and family friendly rural campsite. It has four large camping pitches in a meadow surrounded by huge beach trees on one side and stunning views of the ‘sleeping dragon’ of the Preseli mountains on the other.

Arrive, pitch your tent and enjoy! Birds of prey soar overhead in skies that are pitch black by night, illuminated solely by the stars and moon. Meanwhile the sound of the river burbles in the background awakening our senses and refreshing our soul.

Swings and low hanging climbing branches are hidden under the generous arms of the beech trees waiting to be discovered by curious children and adults alike. A lovingly built round house holds a well-equipped kitchen and provides a covered seating area for those rainy days. Walk up the hill, passing through the working woods to discover the stone circle – a place for contemplation, celebration or just to stand and enjoy the stunning views of the landscape.

The camping field is set within the lands of a working intentional community and there will be people passing through the camping field to access various sites from time to time. The nearest village, Maenclochog, is 15 minutes walk away or five minutes by car. Here you’ll find a village shop selling all the essentials plus locally grown vegetables, deliciously indulgent fresh cheesecakes and fresh sour dough bread. The village has a great café and a petrol station.

We are surrounded by cycle routes and within 15 minutes drive to the Preseli mountains. Llys y Fran is only three miles away – a reservoir with an outdoor activity centre that offers pump track, mountain bike track, fishing, water adventures, land adventures and much more.

Once you visit and camp at Coed Temple Druid you will want to book your pitch for next year and bring your friends!

Worth Noting: The site is a car free zone. Parking is close by and we provide wheel barrows to transport your kit to and from your pitch.
