Coedmor Camping
Peaceful camping on a west Wales farm, close to the River Teifi.
About: Coedmor Camping is located on a peaceful working farm at Llangoedmor, near Cardigan in west Wales. It’s a wonderfully family-friendly spot, well away from any main roads. The camping field is a car free area, giving plenty of field acreage for children to let off steam safely. Children will also love to see the pigmy goats, donkeys and sheep, as well as collect some fresh eggs from the farm.
The team at Coedmor Camping have planted over 25,000 trees in our newly created Coedmor 'Jubilee Woods'. This will create a lovely woodland trail perfect for a walk or cycle ride.
We are spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. You could treat the children to a different beach every day if you want. Poppit Sands and Aberporth (to name but two) are within 15 minutes drive. Also nearby is the Welsh Wildlife Centre, a big hit with youngsters for its animal spotting and nature trails.
The pretty little market town of Cardigan is just a short distance a way. There is plenty to explore here, as well as shops, cafés and coffee shops.
Coedmor is a choice spot for many keen walkers. On the edge of Coedmor National Nature Reserve, there are circular strolls along the banks of the River Teifi. With the Wales Coast Path running through Cardigan (10 minutes drive), it’s also a smart over-night stop for long-distance hikers – and the owners can arrange a pick-up from local transport if needs be.
Worth Noting: The camping field is a car free zone, so please park your car in the designated parking area. Because we are a working farm, we can not accept dogs. Sorry.
