About: Thorning Farm is a peaceful place, with five camping pitches and five glamping tents. It's a working farm but we have put aside a special field for nature and for yourselves to enjoy, so it's wild and rugged! With the coastline on your doorstep, there are magnificent views and short walks to two amazing beaches. We are spoilt for choice with room to explore the wild beautiful surroundings.
Glamping Pitches: We have five hideaway glamping tents. Three of these are 5m Nora Air dome tents. With no centre pole, this gives and extra bit of space. These glamping tents sleep a family of five and have a comfortable double bed, a double futon and a single futon, but sorry we can not accepts dogs. We also have two, 5m Star bell tents which also sleep five. These come furnished with a comfortable double bed and three single futons. Dogs are welcome in our bell tents. All glamping tents have their own compost toilet and shower. The outdoor kitchen is covered and has picnic table inside so you don’t have to worry about the weather. Cooking facilities include a BBQ, gas hob, fire pit and grill.
Camping Pitches: We have five hideaway camping pitches. All have a compost toilet, picnic table, electric hook up and fire pit with a cooking grill. Pitches are 12m x 12m or more. You are welcome to bring gazebos and pup tent if needed, free of charge.
Campervan Pitches: We have two large pitches with a hard standing area that can accommodate camper vans or small motorhomes. These pitches can be used as camping pitches too and also include a picnic table, fire pit with grill, compost toilet and electric hook up. There is also a disposal point for toilet waste.
Worth Noting: If bringing your dog, please keep it on a lead at all times, and pick up any mess placing it in the bins provided.
