About: Llansawel Agored campsite is set in 20 acres of rolling landscape in Carmarthenshire, between Llandovery and Carmarthen, Lampeter and Llandeilo. There's a small village within walking distance, with friendly pubs offering food at reasonable rates. Outside of this, we are fortunate to be away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns, so please be mindful with food shopping before arrival.

Each pitch has its own area to enjoy, creating maximum space for your stay. We will be able to assist you with settling in. Our onsite facilities include drinking water, showers, recycling points, composting toilets and fire pits.

We have three options for your stay: Camping, Camping+ and Glamping. Camping includes a good sized pitch. Camping+, you’ll have the same sized pitch, an under cover kitchen area with picnic table, fire pit and your own composting toilet. Glamping has all of the facilities of Camping+ as well as extras such as kitchen, private shower and cosy accommodation complete with a log burning stove.

With never more than 15 families on our 20 acres, we encourage you to have time onsite. Wander through the developing woodland, dip your toes in the stream, sit back and watch the redkites flying overhead and in the evening listen to the crackle of the fire with the Milky Way to gaze at above.

If you do wish to head away, we have plenty of attractions within a 30 minute drive; The National Botanical Gardens, Dinefwr Castle, the Gold Mines of Dolau Cothi, mountain biking in Brechfa, walking at Llyn Y Fan Fach and Water Adventures in Llandysul.
