Tipis At Ponty
A six-acre small holding, with riverside camp pitches, luxury glamping accomodation and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

About: On our main site we offer the perfect glamping experience to suit you!‘Yurt Mary’,‘Cabin Rita’ and ‘Tipi Mavis’.
The yurt and log cabin are self-sufficient, each with a fully stocked cooking pod and off grid bathroom facilities (wet room access is also available), bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery, glasses, seating, campfire, internal stove and logs… all you need to bring are your clothes and food.
The tipi boasts its own fully stocked cooking pod, bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery, glasses, seating, campfire, internal stove and logs.
Nestled on the hillside, our three deluxe tent pitches ‘Daffyd’, ‘Algie’ and ‘Don Don’ are available for those who prefer to bring their own. The tent pitches have simple seating and fire baskets. They have use of sheltered areas; rickety river shack, sunset shack and the campers cooking area. Logs and kindling are available to purchase on site.
There are two wet rooms and a kitchenette with microwave, fridges, a small freezer and washing up facilities for all to use. Here you will find our ‘shop’ offering bare essentials and our own homemade produce, with an honesty box. The ‘sunset shack’ and campers cooking area in the upper copse have stunning views and provide informal dining, relaxation and recreation. Games, cards and books are available as well as candles and blankets for those chilly evenings.
Our ‘wild camping’ area is situated in our adjacent, secluded, river edged paddock and has five pitches. This area is serviced by an off grid shower and two off grid loos. These pitches are flat and all river edged with an opportunity to wild swim.
Our land borders on the River Cain (to which we have fishing rights). The paddock is the perfect place to exercise yourselves and your four legged friends. You may even get lucky and spot an otter, kingfisher, heron or cormorant. Our friendly small flock of rare breed Jacob sheep will be your close neighbours during your stay, as well as a couple of rare breed pigs (not to mention the chickens and ducks)!
We are conveniently located for you to explore the local attractions. There are many places of natural beauty, cultural and historical interest in close proximity. You’ll also find local amenities in the village just half a mile away.
Worth Noting: We are an adults only, dog friendly site. Families are welcomed on our exclusivity deals. We are caterers by trade, so intermittently do alfresco dining nights for the guests.
