Wild Camping Dark Lane
Simple off grid, dog friendly nearly wild camping, with just 10 pitches set across three acres of paddock and young woodland.

About: Wild Camping, Dark Lane is in a little valley in Wiltshire. It is Chris & Louise's haven from the daily activity of modern life; used for grazing ponies, wild camping with the kids, exercising dogs, picnicing and having fun. We all love the colour, wildlife and seclusion and thought it was time to share it with others in a way that promotes the benefits of doing things in a sustainable way, respecting nature and supporting other local enterprises.
We have 10 pitches spread across three acres (two perfectly suited for star gazing in our little woodland). To make things easy for you, we can arrange for a cool box or hamper filled with local delights (chutneys, cheese, eggs, beer, etc) to be delivered to your tent.
Drinking water from a solar-pumped borehole. There are three compost loos, two showers, two washing up points, lots of stars, fresh air and space. There's no mains electricity - or light pollution.
Locally you will find a broad range of local attractions to visit - and of course our site is great for trail running, hiking and cycling (the campsite is 800m from National Cycle Route 4).
Worth Noting: There's a picturesque canal walk to Great Bedwyn shop. A two mile walk to Burbage, where there are shops and laundry facilities. The nearby number 22 bus heads to the local market towns of Hungerford and Marlborough. We're just under a mile from The Swan pub, providing great locally sourced food and drink.
