Dipple Farm Camping
Get back to nature in north Devon. Enjoy rural splendour, on-site activities and nearby coastal attractions.
About: Dip into Dipple Farm and enjoy the sublimely beautiful north Devon countryside. Nestled by the banks of the River Torridge, our lovely farm offers superb valley views and on a clear day, views that extend all the way to Dartmoor.
The campsite has a shepherd's hut and fifteen spacious tent pitches, up to five of which can be used by campervans. The pitches are spread over ten acres of a gentle valley side, across our Top and Bottom Fields - but never far from rustic-style facilities. The Top Field has our single electric hook up pitch and is nearest the Campers Kitchen. The Bottom Field is quieter, slightly wilder but still with great views across meadows and the valley.
The on-field facilities include herb & veg pods around the site, a communal fireplace, great hot showers, washing up points and convenient compost toilets. Each pitch is allowed its own campfire. The Campers Kitchen is near the site entrance in West Barn and offers secure device charging points, a hot water urn, toaster, microwave, your own fridge & freezer spaces, free freezer blocks and a clothes drying line.
Close by is the new farm shop where you can purchase camping essentials, ice lollies, local craft items, home-grown produce and bread that has been freshly baked on site.
The wild river meadows provide enjoyable scenic walks along the ever the changing river banks which are teeming with wildlife. Explore the 27-acres of flora, fauna and pasture, with scores of bird species waiting to be discovered.
We have an ever-changing complement of livestock giving you a chance to share the land with our poultry, small Ouessant sheep, miniature goats and occasionally, pigs. You can also see cows, horses and sheep next door.
We are well placed for easy access to the coast all the way from Tintagel in the west to Ilfracombe and beyond.
