Into The Sticks
The naturally wild camping experience.
About: Into The Sticks is set within a secluded and sheltered private nature reserve teeming with wildlife near the coast in West Wales. Just a handful of tent-only pitches and a unique off-grid Tiny Home tucked away in 22 beautiful acres including the Western Cleddau river, woodlands, meadows, thickets, streams and marsh – partly designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Area of Conservation.
Facilities include covered washing up area, luxury dry toilet and "shower with a view" all hand made from local, sustainable and reclaimed materials. There is also a stone barn with indoor seating, games, nature library and cooking area for if it rains. Each pitch has a large picnic table and benches and a fire pit with a dry firewood included. There are long and short nature trails on site and wild swimming in the river. Optional nature based activities and workshops for kids and weekly wood fired pizza nights in the school holidays.
There is one fee for all year - no extra charge for school holidays. Hot showers, parking, use of fridge and freezer, biodegradable washing up liquid, soaps, shampoo and use of bikes are all included in the pitch fee.
With the nearest beaches just 5 miles away, the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail within an hour’s drive, more than 25 cracking beaches within a 20 minute drive and the Preseli Mountains also on our doorstep this is a perfect location for all outdoor activities.
Remote feeling with no visible signs of the modern world but only a mile from the local village with full range of shops and services this site is perfect for families, couples, nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and those who want to escape the crowds.
Worth Noting: Each pitch has a campfire and a picnic table. River on edge of campsite.
