About: Mwnt Camping offers simple, relaxed camping in a natural setting. We have kept the number of pitches low so everyone has space and privacy. Our seven spacious camping pitches are set across three acres of rolling meadow. There are panoramic views across the countryside stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Preseli Mountains.
Mwnt Camping is surrounded by the beautiful beaches of west Wales and is just ten minutes from the lovely market town of Cardigan. Mwnt beach is a magical spot, popular with the local dolphins and is a scenic twenty minute stroll from the camping meadow.
Each of our meadow pitches has a campfire area for cooking and hanging out in the evenings. For a hassle free camping trip, we offer bell tent glamping. Our bell tents are furnished with a bed and various other bits and bobs so that you can just turn up and chill. We also offer our campervan glamping option.
We are transforming the camping field into a forest garden and wildlife meadow. You will be surrounded by hundreds of little fruit trees and edible plant as an alternative sustainable model of food production that over the years will improve the soil and the land. Feel free to talk to them and encourage them to grow and please try your best not to stumble over them in the dark.
We don’t charge extra for bits and pieces like awnings. If it fits on your pitch, you are free to place it there (please check with us if your structure is any bigger than six meters in any dimension).
Apart from campervans (which will be sited on the most suitable pitches), once you have dropped off your gear, cars are kept in the lower meadow parking area. This will keep vehicle movements to a minimum and make for a safer and more peaceful stay for everyone.
Worth Noting: Mwnt is pronounced "moont" in case you wondered. We are surrounded by farms so sometimes there is related noise from tractors, sheep and sheepdogs and cows etc.
