Nevern Camping
A secluded eco campsite near Newport, just 10 mins from the Coastal Path, the Preseli Mountains and the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire.
About: Set in 12.5 acres of natural pasture, hedgerows and mature trees, Nevern Camping's spacious pitches are spread out over two meadows, teaming with biodiversity. Red kites, buzzards, swallows and a host of other birds are regular visitors. We also have some resident barn owls.
The local pub is just a short stroll away. Here you can sample the local ales, grab a bite to eat and enjoy a game of pool. Stunning beaches are a few minutes' drive or cycle away, and the Preseli Hills and coastal path offer fantastic hiking routes.
Each pitch has its own fire pit, ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach, walking the coastal path or visiting one of the many Iron Age sites that Pembrokeshire is famous for. The camping areas are car-free zones and access to the tent pitches is on foot only (max 100m), with wheelbarrows provided to transport tents and other belongings.
Facilities include two family sized bathrooms complete with shower, toilet, handbasin, plus hooks and a chair to stash your belongings. There are two washing up areas with hot water, a freezer for ice blocks and charging points for mobile phones.
Brand new for 2024, is our two-bedroom cabin. This comes complete with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. It features a bathroom equipped with a shower, a compost toilet, and a hand basin, as well as its own external firepit area. Nestled in the same wildlife-friendly landscape, the cabin is ideal for those seeking comfort beyond a tent, or for friends and family who wish to stay on the same site but prefer not to camp under canvas.
The site owner, Cleo, is very happy to advise about walks, beaches, wild swimming spots and any other local information you need.
Worth Noting: Tents and small campervans only. Each pitch has its own campfire. Discount for walkers and cyclists without a support vehicle. Nevern Camping is a dog-free site.
